An investor with a very strong financial base sees the possibility of developing "Hindu Pilgrimage Tourism" in Nepal. He was told by an Indian Professor that each year more than 10 million Indians venture out for pilgrimage tour. The investor thinks, "Pashupatinath no doubt is the most revered deity among Hindus. Along with this destination some other religious sites such as Barah Chhetra, Janakpurdham, Gadhi Mai, Devghat, Lumbini, Swargadwari & Ridi could be included and a package tour originating from major cities of India could be developed." He feels that at least one thousand tourists from India could be brought in every day who would be spending somewhat around twenty days in Nepal visiting these places. The investor dreams of establishing an umbrella company called "Nepal Darshan" that would include an airline with 5 jet crafts, group of hotels accommodating 25000 tourists at a time, surface transport vehicle operator with 1000 fleets and chain of 500 restaurants. He murmurs, "Money is not the problem."
