Personality test is helpful when is about hiring people. This test could determinate the knowledge, skills and critical thinking of the person. This also could to find the right candidate for the position and give also the idea about that person behave, act, and think. Ethical decision could be based on this test, because to hire someone will be based on the test, which is the best answer  meaning who have the best knowledge for the position that is been offer.

Most of the jobs have this personality test, meaning that if the person that being test do not pass the test is not qualify for that position. If we think about it, make sense because this test is all about to test your knowledge and the skills to deal with that specific type of job. One example is the bank, after you apply for a bank they send you a link to take a screen test, this is to level your experience, knowledge and also critical thinking but some questions are tricked to confuse the examiner. In another hands, is unfair to obligate the applicant to take this test. People lie most of the time on this test, because they just want to obtain the position, is not about to level what people know, for them is about I need the job.

This is unfair in the way that a test can not say how potential you are to put you in that position. Also we have to take in mind that there could be unclear questions and make the applicants get confuse and just because click the wrong answer, you will not be considered to the position in the company. The test could not be considered as a priority to hire someone. Know the personality of the person is important but not to decide if that person deserve the job because the personality. Some company not even do an interview if they see that the personality test are not what they are expecting. People are willing to learn new things, new skills, new experiences and ideas, this is what company should be looking, people that are excited to learn but also o share their knowledge, not because the personality characteristics is not what they expect the applicant will not have the job.

What I think is a personality test should be optional in al company, the company should focus on what the applicant could bring to the company. This test should be give it after the applicant is already working for the company, meaning this test should not considered a hiring tool but a motivation tool. Company should upgrade the way they hire people and focus on what is rely important to the company that will have a positive effectiveness in the company. Also to not make this test as if they are back to school, questions should be clear and straight to the point. Some companies should consider this type of options, is important to also to respect employee rights and maintain an ethical environment.
