Perception of Time:

Randomly selected statistics students participated in an experiment to test their ability to determine when 1 minute (60 secs) has passed. 40 students yielded a sample mean of 58.3 sec. Assuming that σ = 9.56 sec, is a significance level to test the claim that the population mean is equal to 60 sec. Based on the result, does there to be an overall perception of 1 minute that is reasonably accurate?
