Brewer's malt is produced from germinating barley, so brewers like to know under what conditions they should germinate their barley. The following is part of an experiment on barley germination. Barley seeds were divided into 30 lots of 100 seeds, and each lot of 100 seeds was germinated under one of ten conditions chosen at random. The conditions are the ten combinations of weeks after harvest (1, 3, 6, 9, or 12 weeks) and amount of water used in germination (4 ml or 8 ml). The response is the number of seeds germinating. We are interested in whether timing and/or amount of water affect germination. The data for this problem are in Table 8.1 (Hareland and Madson 1989). Analyze these data to determine how the germination rate depends on the treatments.

Provide a quantitative analysis that compares remeasurement 1 and 2 data to the baseline data:
Please give step by step solution in detail. Determine if b is a linear combination of the vectors formed from the columns of the matrix A.
Would the method described above be a good way to determine which team was taller (explain why or why not)?
Support your contention with three examples from your experience at other organizations or departments. Where applicable, for each example, indicate what are the treatments and blocking variables.

We do not know the true mean for this population (in other words, we don't know what proportion of households are satisfied with their banana quality). However, we want to construct a 90% confidence interval for where we believe the true proportio..
The appropriate use of multiple regression depends on being able to make four basic assumptions about the data being used to develop the regression model:
