This is an AACSB assignment embedded in this course and aims at helping our students demonstrate the capabilities they have developed to perform effectively in team environments. Try to have the following sections in your paper. Make sure to use effectively all the articles discussed in class or available to you on Blackboard in the folder “Readings”, Sub-folder “leadership and followership”. While this paper is self-reflective, supporting your personal reflection with arguments from the extant research is highly recommended and desirable.

Assessment Criteria - Your papers will be assessed following a rubric composed of 5 criteria. The different levels of performance are precisely described in this rubric. I will explain it fully in class to make sure you meet or exceed the expectations at the end of this assignment. The rubric is on Blackboard in the folder “Assignments and Projects’ Guidelines”. If you scored low on this measure and find yourself on a team at some point, try to see the benefits of teamwork. Not only is work shared among individuals, but teams also can facilitate feelings of inclusion and camaraderie among team members. Remember to be patient, however. Although teams often outperform individuals working by themselves (especially on complex tasks that require multiple skills and experience), they tend to take longer to reach decisions.
