Marketing Project Overview:
Consumers' product and service preferences are constantly changing. Marketing managers must understand these desires in order to create a proper marketing mix for a well-defined market. (MKTG4, Lamb p. 73, 2011).
Apply your knowledge of marketing concepts by completing the following:
1. Select a product you use regularly such as athletic shoes or jeans and explain the way in which that particular brand reflects your self-concept. For your product example, identify the target market and the key promotion concepts used to market the product brand. Describe key components of the marketing media channels used to communicate the marketing messages to consumers like yourself.
2. Evaluate the packaging or labeling of your product example and make at least two recommendations to improve the effectiveness of consumer marketing and improvement to the brand's image of sustainability. Explain your ideas and recommendations in detail.
3. Prepare a mock-up sample for your packaging or label. Please be mindful of the environment and sustainability issues when considering packaging, and other promo materials. Describe the marketing uses of the packaging and labeling you design. The package or label sample can be submitted electronically as a document.
