A consumer products company surveys 30 shoppers at a mall and asks each one if he/she likes the packaging of a new soap product. The results of the survey are:

Yes: 10; No: 19; No opinion: 1.

(a) Use these data to estimate the proportion of shoppers who would like the package for the soap.

(b) Suppose the company gathered these data by talking to customers in one of their stores. What impact might this have on the results. Suggest a better way to gather the data.
