Assignment 1: Your readings this week have provided you with an overview of various types of research methodologies falling under Quantitative, Qualitative and Mixed Methodology research. How do these three approaches differ? What similarities do they share? Discuss each approach below. Include in your discussion comparisons of epistemologies, types of knowledge, and assumptions of each approach.

Step 1: Select THREE manuscripts in your area of discipline to examine throughout this course: 1 qualitative study, 1 quantitative study and 1 mixed methods study.( please see attachements)

Critique the manuscripts using the checklists below. You will be using these research articles to help you understand what exactly goes into the research methods for dissertations and other research. Each module you will identify specific elements in these research articles relating specifically to that module. These will serve as great examples for what you will need to do in your own research!
