Control Theory - Lab Reports

For experiments 1 to 4 you must undertake the following:

a) At the start of each section (including the pre-lab activities) there are a number learning outcomes. That is, what students should be able to do at the end of each section. You must provide a report on how you met each of the learning outcomes. How you show this is up to you but can include and not limited to: reflection on the activity; describing what you did and what knowledge was gained; showing results, calculations, designs, outputs and circuits; and describing problems you faced and how you overcame them.

b) Outline which learning outcome was most important to you and why

c) Using the 13 laboratory objectives listed in the experiment one prelab activity outline the objectives developed across each experiment

Notes:

a) If you complete the final task of each experiment appropriately, most of the work for the report should be complete

b) The text component for each experiment should not exceed 2 pages (minimum font size 10). That is a total of 8 pages of text across all four experiments. You may include bulky materials in the appendix.

c) If you need to support your results with theory, but be sure to reference the source correctly using IEEE reference formatting (with a reference list at the end of the report)

d) The presentation component will be assessed on the following points:

- correct figure, table captions and cross references
- use of headings and paragraphs
- intelligible English writing
- correct use of in text citing and referencing
- appropriate figure resolution
- proper use of legends, headings and axis labelling on MATLAB/Simulink plots
