Develop a marketing plan Assignment -

Assessment Task 1 -

Activity 1A - For this activity, you will identify organisational objectives of Cocoa Delight (Attachment 1) to devise, document and present a marketing plan. Your marketing plan must also include: evaluation of marketing opportunity options, marketing strategies that utilise existing strengths and opportunities and develop resources and expertise as needed to meet objectives, marketing tactics that are legal, ethical, achievable and can be reviewed, costs, scheduling, responsibilities and accountabilities for tactics, strategic use of marketing approaches and marketing mix, rationale for objectives and chosen strategies and tactics.

Show your draft marketing plan to your Trainer for feedback, incorporate any changes required and submit the draft marketing plan to your Assessor for summative evidence.

Activity 1B - For this activity, you will adjust the draft marketing plan developed for Activity 1 above by response to feedback from key stakeholders and disseminate for implementation. Your Assessor will role-play a key stakeholder for this Activity.

Show your draft marketing plan after adjustment to your Trainer for feedback, incorporate any changes required and submit your final marketing plan to your Assessor for summative evidence.

During these Activities, you will be observed by your Assessor demonstrating the following:

Devise marketing strategies by:

  • Evaluating marketing opportunity options that address organisational objectives and evaluate their risks and returns in the selection process
  • Developing marketing strategies that address strengths and opportunities within the organisation's projected capabilities and resources
  • Developing strategies which increase resources or organisational expertise where gaps exist between current capability and marketing objectives
  • Developing feasible marketing strategies and communicate reasons that justifies their selection
  • Ensuring strategies align with organisation's strategic direction
  • Developing a marketing performance review strategy, incorporating appropriate marketing metrics to review the organisational performance against marketing objectives

Plan marketing tactics by:

  • Detailing tactics to implement each marketing strategy in terms of scheduling, costing, accountabilities and persons responsible
  • Identifying coordination and monitoring mechanisms for scheduled activities
  • Ensuring tactics are achievable within organisation's projected capabilities and budget
  • Ensuring tactics meet legal and ethical requirements
  • Ensuring tactics provide for ongoing review of performance against objectives and budgets and allow marketing targets to be adjusted if necessary

Prepare and present a marketing plan by:

  • Ensuring marketing plan meets organisational, as well as marketing, objectives and incorporates marketing approaches and a strategic marketing mix
  • Ensuring marketing plan contains a rationale for objectives and information that supports the choice of strategies and tactics
  • Presenting marketing plan for approval in the required format and timeframe
  • Adjusting marketing plan in response to feedback from key stakeholders and disseminate for implementation within the required timeframe

Assessment Task 2 -

I need help for a diploma level assignment - Develop Marketing Plan. Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in the regulation, licensing and risk - risk management field of work and include access to: Relevant legislation, regulations, standards and codes, Relevant workplace documentation and resources, Case studies and, where possible, real situations and Interaction with others.

Students must complete all assessment tasks and submit their evidence to the assessor. Each task will be graded as either S – Satisfactory or NS – Not Satisfactory by the assessor. Students will be given feedback by the assessor. The assessor will use Task checklists to assess each task. If the task is graded as NS – Not Satisfactory, the assessor will provide clear feedback to the student and the student will be required to re-submit the evidence. When all assessment tasks have been graded as S – Satisfactory, the student will be deemed C – Competent. If all the assessment tasks are not satisfactorily completed, the student will be deemed NC – Not Competent and the Assessor will detail the reasons for this assessment decision on the front page of this document. Students can appeal to Vocational Training Institute against an assessment decision. This appeal should be made in writing within 7 days of the assessment decision.
