As a health care manager, I will use my business plan to strategize for the future by making sure I am fully aware of the organization's long-term and short-term goals. By knowing the organization's goals, I can align my department's goals and objectives with those of the entire company. I will also produce a SWOT analysis so that I can be vigilant for any concerns that may arise in the future. The SWOT analysis will give me a realistic timeline and inform me of what areas need more focus than others. Making my team aware of my business plan and getting them excited about the goals will also be a great way to keep my team motivated to hit deadlines with me. I will use my business plan to align with the needs of the community around me by digging into the demographics. Viewing the demographics surrounding me will allow me to see what services I should invest in and provide. Lastly, keeping the facility new and modern will also be a focus of my business plan because it will allow us to provide amazing quality care.
