Social media and the Internet gives the opportunity for an entrepreneur to reach markets around the globe, but each country has its own culture, language and competition making it very difficult to generate any foreign sales.Most people feel comfortable shopping online in their native language and paying in their home currency. Are most retail web sites ready for the foreign customers?

2. A popular phrase that says alot is "Think Global, Act Local". This thinking has spawned the term "Glocalization", which "usually refers to a sort of internationalization where a global product is adapted to fit the local norms of a particular region."

3. Many entrepreneurs are told that there ideas are wacky, expensive or a waste of time. Those that have the strength and vision believe in their product and service work day and night to defy the odds.
