As discussed in Chapter One, there are various ways to deal with your opponent when they are using hardball tactics. Consider this scenario and what you would do. You are currently earning $60k a year. According to market research, a company your size and a person in your position should earn $72,500 annually. You work for a very wealthy organization, and you know your company can easily pay that amount. Furthermore, your annual job performance reviews are outstanding. Although it seems like you have a good case to argue, your boss is using hardball tactics like intimidation and aggressive behavior towards you. In fact, he has threatened to fire you if you continue to request an increase. How do you respond to these hardball tactics. Consider not only chapter two in this question but chapter three as well.
