You are head of the Office of Tourism and Economic Development in a country of your choice aside from the United States and China.

The Summer Olympics are scheduled for the summer of 2020 in Japan however due to the economic crumbling within the country, the event has been scratched. Japan has let the International Olympic Committee (IOC) know that they must withdraw from hosting the event. The event now is scrambling to find a new host site.

This is considered one of the most prestigious events in the world. The best of the best complete at the highest level in some of the most difficult and varied events with unprecedented media coverage and patronage. You are now challenged with writing a 2 page persuasive document to try and convince the International Olympic Committee to bring the event to your country, which is Vietnam.

Create a formal letter based on your position (Office of Tourism and Economic Development) and your location (Vietnam) you are writing from per the assignment, to try and convince the IOC that your location can handle the event relative to the conditions of why it had to be moved. The letter should be formal letter layout, clear and concise and designed to impress as appropriate to the circumstances.
