Determine what analysis would you do on each problem (ie, one-sample z-test, one-sample t-test, proportion test, two-sample independent t-test, or paired test)?  Then state the null and alternative hypothesis for a problem.

Wendell Duffield, et al, believe the age of Grand Falls is younger than the accepted value of 150,000 years ago. The accepted value had a standard deviation of 10,000 years.  (By the way, they published that there is evidence for their hypothesis and the age of Grand Falls is now believed to be 20,000 years ago).
