Nitrogen is a gas of diatomic molecules (N2) that behaves approximately like an ideal gas at standard temperature and pressure (STP: T = 273.15 K, P = 1.0 atm = 1.013x10^5 Pa). The atomic mass of nitrogen is 14 g/mol.

a) Calculate the volume of one mole of nitrogen molecules.
b) What is the average distance between nitrogen molecules?
c) The measured isochoric heat capacity for N2 gas is about 0.741 kJ/(kg K) at 15ºC. Which degrees of freedoms are active at this temperature?
