Case Study: City Retail Group roll out of new training program City Retail Group is rolling out a new training program for all staff. The training program will consist of the following topics:
• WHS legislation and duty of care expectations (HR Director)
• Ergonomics awareness (WHS Representative)
• Quality and compliance (Quality Manager)
• Customer service (Marketing Director)
• Performance reviews (HR Director and/or Department heads). The CEO has identified key personnel to deliver this training in-house, based on their expertise in the area (as shown next to each topic above). Each trainer will need to produce the following material for their topic:
• PowerPoint presentations created using City Retail Group branded templates
• Handouts created using City Retail Group branded templates
• Policies and procedures (where necessary) created or identified as necessary. It is expected that the trainers will also need to arrange suitable rooms in which to hold the training and make a list of all their training requirements, such as, projectors, computers, printers, refreshment requirements and so on. The CEO of City Retail Group has indicated he expects this training to be high quality and relevant to all attendees. The training will need to be scheduled.
