Question

Nancy purchases a second television from Used Goods, a second-hand store. The television was being sold by Used Goods on behalf of a client; on the basis that the store would receive a small commission from the sale. Although the television had been used it still looked quite new and the price was very cheap for that particular model of television. Two days later Nancy discovers that the remote is no longer working. She brings it back to Used Goods to be repaired and subsequently pays for the minimal cost of the repairs. At the end of the week the police arrive at Nancy's house to reclaim the television, which was stolen. Nancy is very upset and no longer has a television.
