Question

Muscles of the arms are used (constantly / mostly for short bursts of energy) as in lifting and throwing. Therefore they must contract at a (fast / slow) rate. The arms consist mainly of fast twitch white fibers. These respond rapidly to nerve impulses and contract (fast / slowly). They (do / do not) fatigue easily because they are designed for the relatively inefficient processes of (aerobic / anaerobic) respiration. These muscles are classifies as type (SO / FOG / FG).

Most skeletal muscles such as the biceps brachii, are (all of one type / mixtures of types SO, FG, FOG). The muscle of any one motor unit are (all of one type / mixtures of types SO, FG, FOG).
