For each of the arguments below, do the following: A) Identify whether the argument is valid or invalid, and if the argument is in one of the forms we discussed (e.g. modus ponens, modus tollens, denying the antecedent, etc) then identify the form, B)If the argument commits a fallacy we discussed, identify the fallacy.

1) All cats are reptiles.
    Garfield is a cat. 
    Therefore, Garfield is a reptile. 

2) If one studies hard, then one will pass the test. 
    George passed the test. 
    Thus, George studied hard. 

3) Most students are clever. 
    Jasmine is a student. 
    So Jasmine must be clever. 

4) If an action causes suffering, then it is immoral. 
    That action caused suffering. 
    So therefore that action is immoral. 

5) If Mark is guilty, then he is lying. 
    Mark is telling the truth.
    Therefore, Mark isn't guilty. 

6) Either you support the government, or else you are a terrorist. 
    Bob doesn't support the government. 
    Therefore Bob is a terrorist! 

7) All professors are awesome. 
    Ryan is awesome. 
    Therefore Ryan is a professor. 

8) Everyone who gets the flu also gets a fever. 
    Micah has a fever. 
    Therefore, Micah has the flu. 

9) Paranormal events aren't just people's imagination, they actually happen. 
    Therefore, paranormal events are real. 

10) Mitt Romney just criticized Trump's policies.
      But Mitt Romney is a loser idiot. 
      Therefore, Mitt Romney's criticism is wrong.
