The first step for developing operating mechanisms is to establish a mission or vision for the organization. The mission or vision gives the organization direction, momentum, and commitment. It lends meaning and identity to the organization and guides the organization.What is the mission of your organization? What is the mission of your department or team? How does the mission of your department or team align with the mission of the organization?
