Medicine and Clinical Studies Some research suggests that college student athletes who are subject to high stress levels (due to academic demands, personal problems, or other sources) are more likely to be injured during a game. A random sample of student athletes was obtained, and a questionnaire was used to determine the stress level of each prior to a game. Following the game, the injury status of each athlete was also recorded. The data are summarized in the following table.
