Problem: Life of a TV has a mean of 645 hours and a standard deviation of 31 hours. A random sample of 49 TV's was selected from the population to estimate the mean life of these TVs.

Required:

a. What will be the mean and std deviation of this sampling distribution?

b. Random sample of 49 TVs are chosen and the mean is computed. Probability that the mean life will be less than 655 hours?

c. Again 49 chosen and mean is computed. Probability that the mean life wil be between 638 and 650 hours?
