There are 2 runners on the team at a University. The team is about to enter a race, where each runner runs a mile and their individual scores are combined to make a team score. Assume the two runners race independently o each other. Their individual times and scores are normally distributed with the following means and standard deviations.

Runner 1

Mean= 5.1 Standard Deviation =.19

Runner 2

Mean=4.9 Standard Deviation =.14
