Requirements - For this assessment item, you must perform hand calculations:

1. Calculate the currents and voltages for the cases in Fig. 1.

2. Express the set of equations for the cases in Fig. 1 in the form

where x contains the voltages and currents that are to be found within the circuit. Leave it in algebraic form (don't substitute in values for resistance or battery voltage) and it is better to not perform algebraic substitutions used to solve Requirement 1.

You must also produce MATLAB code which:

3. Finds the voltages and currents in the circuits in Fig. 1 by solving Eq. (17) for x and reports the values to the Command Window.

4. Validates the results from Requirement 3 using Requirement 1.

5. Repeats Requirement 3 for the circuit in Fig. 2.

6. Repeats Requirement 3 for the circuit in Fig. 3.

7. Graphically displays the circuit (draw resistors as straight lines) from Requirement 6; one image with colouring used to represent current through the misters, another image with colouring used to represent voltage in the wires between resistors, It is not necessary to reproduce the red dots indicating connections between wires.

8. Has appropriate comments throughout.
