Students are to assume that they are a human resource manager for a service organization. The boss would like the human resource manager to communicate to employees the value of the benefits offered to them, but the boss wants the information manipulated so that it looks better than it really is. The boss figures that these are the potential costs that could be incurred for everyone and that the company should get credit for being generous, although many employees do not take full advantage of all benefits.
