Consider a manufacturing process consisting of three activities: • Activity 1 takes ten minutes to complete and there are two workers that work in parallel. • Activity 2 takes six minutes to complete and there is only one worker. • Activity 3 takes 15 minutes to complete and there are three workers that work in parallel. a. What is the flow rate if demand is 4 units/hour? b. What is the flow rate if demand is 15 units per hour? c. What is the bottleneck if demand is 15 units per hour? d. What is the utilization of each resource if demand is 15 units per hour? e. Find the shortest time to fulfill an order of 1000 units. f. Assume that each worker costs 12 TL/hour.
