Question: Becoming an organ donor is a very personal decision. Currently, in Manitoba, potential organ donors have to opt-in to become an organ donor. In other words they have to sign up online to make their wishes know. Recently, in Nova Scotia, the government has gone to an opt-out policy meaning that everyone over the age of 18 will automatically become an organ donor unless they opt-out. Manitoba should not follow the opt-out policy for organ donations?
