LMIA  Alternate Assignment (INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT)

This Assignments has two parts: part (A) and part (B).

  1. Submit a written summary:

The written summary is based on the  student's assigned LMIA  application to hire a foreign academic and should comprise the following elements: 

  1. Regulatory and Statutory framework for your process (IRPA & IRPR)
  2. The Operational Instructions / Program Requirements for that specific LMIA
  3. Processing times and fees associated
  4. List and Explanation of Application Forms required for LMIA (You must have an understanding of your forms to include what information is unique to that LMIA in your summary)
  5. List of documents required for the LMIA application in that stream.
  1. Submit ONE (1) complete job advertisement to facilitate the LMIA process to hire a foreign academic. The information for this job posting can be made up and it must follow the program requirements within the LMIA process.
