In a study of the effectiveness of certain exercises in weight reduction, a group of 16 persons engaged in these exercises for one month and showed the following results:

Use the 0.05 level of significance to test the null hypothesis μ1 - μ2 = 0 against the alternative hypothesis μ1 - μ2> 0, and thus judge whether the exercises are effective in weight reduction.
