The paper must address the following questions:

  • What are some time management and stress issues impacting a manager of a team? What can a manager do through emotional intelligence to improve himself/herself and the ability to assess team members response to work place demands and stress?

  • During stressful times for a team, what might you do as a manager/leader to help minimize stress so that the team does not feel the pressure?

  • What resources are available from your employer, university, health care providers or reputable online/web services?

  • What are other reputable services available for dealing with stressful situations?

    Utilize insights from reputable resources, with your experiences, to discuss the questions from a manager's viewpoint and relationships with the team members. Even if you do not have a team now, everyone can lead and most of you have a leader, therefore you can propose actions as you anticipate your first management or leadership role.
