Jolla is a commercial cleaner of office buildings. She has been doing this for 15 years. When she first began she had lots of contracts but for the last 9 years she has cleaned on building only, an office tower in downtown Barrie owned by Big B.
Jolla provides her own broom and dustpan as well as the special microfibre clothes she uses to clean surfaces. She shows up regularly at 7 pm to begin cleaning, and at Big B's request she does not run the vaccum before 9 pm. Big B supplies the cleaning products, vaccum cleaner and garbage bags and facilities.
It take Jolla about 6 hours to clean the whole building. Sometimes she takes a break part way through and goes for a walk or to the movies before coming back to finish the work.
When Jolla takes a vacation she arranges for her neighbour Merry to take over the cleaning for the week.
Jolla gets paid weekly.
