Part 1

Identify change requirements and opportunities.

A. Analyze the following to identify a strategic change that is needed inthe organization (show evidence of your analysis of each one).

1. The objectives and goals of the organization

2. Trends and events in the external environment.

3. Other analysis to identify performance gaps and business opportunities/threats

B. Write a summary of the change, that was identified, and why is it needed ( as a result of your previous analysis) (150 words)

C. Show evidence of discussion with managers about the change (email, meeting notes, memos etc.)

D. Identify stakeholders of the organization.

E. Show evidence of consultation (agendas, minutes, email) with stakeholders about the change.

Part 2

Develop a change management strategy.

A. Develop a cost-benefit analysis for the change.

B. Develop a risk analysis including identification of barriers to change/potential problems, priorities and mitigation strategies for each of them.

C. Develop your change management plan including: tasks, responsibilities, budget, timetable/timelines, objectives and projected outcomes.

D. Document resources needed for the change including management of resources.

E. Evidence of research regarding cost estimates/budgets, relevant authorities and Legislating.

Part 3

Identify change requirements and opportunities.

A. Write your education/communication plan for the change (200 words)

B. Describe the records that you need to keep and where they are stored.

C. Describe how consultation with experts and key stakeholders affect the change process.

D. Describe strategies for embedding the change.

Part 4

Identify change requirements and opportunities.

A. Was the implementation of the change successful according to the plan?

B. Where was there resistance to or problems with the implementation of the change?

C. What steps did you put in place to overcome resistance/problems?

D. How were your operations, stakeholders and results impacted by the change?

E. What communication/education/consultation took place and was it successful?

F. Review timelines and deadlines and explain how you would change the plan for next time
