Assignment: Exchange - Strategic Plan Presentation Instructions

Purpose - This is an opportunity for you to practice your persuasive and oral presentation skills to a specific audience, which in this case is your 'potential investors'.

Instructions: Create a 5-8 minute video presentation highlighting key elements of the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of the strategic plan that you've written. The purpose of the video is to motivate potential investors to purchase stock in the company.

The presentation will be recorded via using your webcams in Peer Exchange. You will not be uploading a screen casting of a PowerPoint presentation. Instead you will be presenting as if you were in front of an audience of investors.

After you have presented your information:

• Determine which video you think provides the most persuasive argument to invest of the two you are given to evaluate. (You will not be presented two videos until at least 3 people have presented.)
• Eighty percent (80%) of your choice should be considering which presentation completed the assignment most fully. Who explained their strategic plan most highlighting the key elements?
• Twenty percent (20%) of your choice should be which video was presented most professionally. What was their tone? Surrounding area? Professional appearance and attitude?
• Comment what you thought was their strongest part of their video and what you think might need to be strengthened to convince investors to buy their stock.
