2 Monitor and evaluate progress against agreed standards and provide feedback to team members

1 - 3.2 The student should write a brief essay explaining ways in which people can be monitored within their own working environment. Some examples could be:
. Formal ways of monitoring, e.g. periodic, regular or annual appraisal, staff reviews, regular feedback schedules, individual or team responsible for quality assurance and improvement, monitoring outcomes, quality checks, observation of practice, report;
. Informal ways of monitoring, e.g. one-to-one feedback, discussion, self-assessment.
The student should also supply evidence in the form of examples of monitoring which has been completed for staff members within their team.
