Which Maslow's need will you use to persuade the voters and why did you choose that need?
Physiological needs
Alachua County has the University of Florida and citizens are fueled by a desire to achieve goals. Attaining goals helps humans satisfy specific needs and desires. Lower needs must be satisfied before higher-order needs can be reached.
Behaviors will be centered on meeting the needs in the lowest order, and then will progress to higher orders as needs are satisfied. Physiological needs include food, shelter, clothing, and sleep.
If these needs are not met, then all efforts are focused on these needs. For this reason, it would best to appeal to their psychological needs to support the tax rate increase.
The appeal should be addressed to school supply and also to focus on expanding the University research center and have more student to work with hands on on different experiments. This it would bring the attention to the majority of Alachua County voters.
