Knowledge of Fire Load and Fire Load Density is very important in the field of Fire Safety Engineering.

Use the following table for proper data collection and calculate the total fire load density if the floor area is 10m x 8m

Read Chapters ‘Energy Release Rate' from the textbook Karlsson, B., and Quintiere, J. G. (2000). Enclosure fire dynamics. CRC Press, Boca Ranton and also refer to the table 3.2. Hydrocarbon and Fuel diameter for each student is appended. You should calculate the HRR and duration of fire for fuel assigned.

Your report should contain all steps and a brief description on mass burning flux and HRR.

TASK 4
