Assignment : Strategic Objectives Realized Through the Application of FRLD

Management must have a great awareness about how leadership is implemented in a large corporation. The process of the analysis you will perform in this Assignment is the same you would use to prepare to conduct business with a company or to prepare for a position interview.

Assignment:

Select an organization to study and analyze for your Assignment. If large enough, it could certainly be the organization that you work for but could also be one in which you have an interest.

The ability to interview a top leader of the organization could be very valuable. If selecting one that you do not have direct access to, seek one that has information readily available either from their website, public reports, research articles, and the like.

A company from the Fortune 500 list often makes a good choice or you can choose a Non-profit Corporation (do a search for Non-profit Corporation).

Checklist:

Determine the organization's vision, mission, and core values (These can usually be found under "About us" or the Annual Report if they are not listed as is).

Identify the organization's major strategic objectives.

Determine how FRLD can be used to inspire and motivate employees in support of the company statements and strategic objectives you found in response to Items 1 and 2.

Write a two (2) page summary of your findings, addressing all items in the checklist. Add an additional title and references page using APA 6th edition format and citation style.
