DR Scenario

Mickie hates it when people get "too close" to her. Unfortunately, her definition of "too close" is anything within 2 feet, which is not practical. If someone gets within 2 feet of her, Mickie lashes out- hitting, kicking, spitting, bumping-whatever it takes to get them to move away. In a controlled setting, Mickie, is taught to say, "I need more space," at which point the trainer moves away. If she lashes out instead, the trainer (wearing protective gear) stays close to her.
