Question: Select a Scholarly Secondary source U.S. history book (i.e., NOT on foreign history, a primary source, a children's work, fiction, textbook, novel, etc.) from the time period of 1877 to the Present. A book written about the life of Barack Obama by someone else is a Secondary Source. A book written by Barack Obama himself is a Primary Source. Write a Critical Book Review making sure you include the following:

• The Critical Book Review should be 3-5 typed pages, double spaced, with one inch margins

• Identify the author's thesis and show how he/she supported that thesis

• Include whether you agree or disagree with the author's thesis and tell why.

• Include the book's overall contribution to field of study.
