There are not enough resources to provide a maximum level of security of all transportation assets. Therefore, some level of prioritization of support is necessary. Assume that you are a senior member of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) providing guidance to the Transportation Security Agency (TSA). Given the need to secure critical infrastructure, how would you assess the prioritization of funding to support such transportation related assets? Provide your analysis in a position paper for senior leadership in the TSA. Address the following issues as a minimum:

Determine factors affecting prioritization.

Identify modes of transportation that may be affected.

Examine people versus cargo considerations.

Provide a prioritization by transportation mode for security with a request for feedback.

Support your paper with at least five scholarly or professional resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
