We assume that we have selected two independent random samples from populations having proportions p1 and p2 and that p-hat1 = 800/1000 and p-hat2 = 950/1000

Calculate a 95% confidence interval for p1 - p2.

Test Ho: p1 - p= 0 versus Ho: p1 - p≠ 0 by using a rejection point and by setting α equal to .05.
