Humankind and its Effects on the Environment

Technology is changing the way we produce food and manufacture goods. There seems to be no way of telling how this manipulation of the food will change the environment we live in. There is genetically altered corn that has not been proven safe for humans getting mixed into humans' food supplies. We do not know what consequences it will have even on the people living today. So, in conclusion humankind should do what ever possible to prove what we are doing is safe to the environment before we deem ourselves rulers that can do what we want and darn the consequences. Explain
