Case Study: Makes connections between the text and the outside world and/or text to text connections. The connector will relate or connect situations from the text to happenings in our country, to similar events at other times and places (historical events), to other places, to other people or problems in the real world. For example, connectors would say "this is like..." or "this reminds me of...." If you have difficulty relating the text to the outside world, you may use the internet for additional research. The connector make at least 6 connections from the Ancient Rome reading material found on the History Channel website (a downloadable copy of this information is also available).
Question: How to submit: After making the 6 required connections, the Connector will design a document labeled Connections. The document must include 6 passages (sections of text) from the Ancient Rome History Channel Document. Each of the 6 passages or sections of text must be highlighted and followed by well-written explanations of how you connected the passage to other texts or readings, happenings in our country, to similar events at other times and places (historical events), to other places, to other people or problems in the real world.
