Question: Critical Legal Thinking. In general, courts are reluctant to grant shareholders' petitions for corporate dissolution except in extreme circumstances, such as when corporate directors or shareholders are deadlocked and the corporation suffers as a result. Rather, a court will attempt to "save" the corporate entity whenever possible. Why is this?
