Introduction

The final core assessment for this course is a two part paper depicting a role play. See instructions below for what is required in your paper. For Part 1, you will submit your company, product, buyer, buyer options, and objectives for approval. That is due in this unit. This assignment is necessary for approval of your core assessment. Once you obtain approval you may continue to work on part 2 of the core assessment, which is due in Unit 8. You will complete the role play by discussing your presentation, objections, responses, and closing. If there are any revisions that are necessary based on instructor feedback from part one, those should be reflected in the final submission for the core assessment.

Part 1 (Completed in Unit 4)

Choose a company and product to sell. This must be approved by the instructor. Part 1 covers the following topics:

1. My company and my product

2. My buyer

3. The buyer’s options

4. Objectives.

Part 2 (Due in Unit 8)

Once you have completed Part 1. You will finish the role play with Part 2. Part 2 covers:

1. Presentation

2. Objections

3. Responses

4. Close

In the conclusion of Part 2 you should address several questions:

How the Sales Partnership Practice was exemplified in the planning and presentation

How technology would have been instrumental in the process, to include finding the customer.

How the Sales Process was implemented.

How ethical and legal issues affected the planning and presentation.
