1. View America's Godly Heritage (DVD). This should have been purchased along with the textbook for this course.

2. As you are watching the video, you may want to take notes. Evaluate the founders purpose and intent when writing the Constitution and in the initial years of enforcing the new country's laws. Consider their worldview and how they believed religion should play a role in the government.

3. Once you have viewed the film, answer the following questions, using at least 450 words and citing at least one source, in a solid paragraph format and submit it in the dropbox below:

1 - According to David Barton, what is the difference between how the Founding Fathers viewed the First Amendment and how the First Amendment is interpreted by the courts today? (Hint: Think about the "separation of church and state" ideology.)

2 - Did any facts or information presented in this video surprise you? If so, explain which ones and why. If not, explain why not.

3 - What from this video did you agree with? What did you disagree with?
