Problem

It is important to formulate strategies in this specific order by directional strategies, adaptive, market entry, competitive, and implementation strategies, because each strategy more specifically defines the activities of the organization (from broadest to most specific). Directional strategies outline or define the organizations mission, vision, values and goals and is the broadest of the strategies.

Adaptive Strategies include expansion, contraction and maintenance of scope and used in making initial decisions after the directional strategies are completed. Market entry involves purchase, cooperation and development and answer the questions regarding buying into the market, cooperating with others and developing products and services themselves.

Competitive and Implementation strategies include how the services or product will be marketed and position strategy and how a combination of these techniques can be used to implement the service or products.
