Self-concept is subjective and is shaped by, and therefore influences, communication with others. Therefore, we use online and in-person impressions to enhance ourselves when presenting ourselves. To understand each other, we use self-disclosure concepts in interpersonal relationships.

Objective: The purpose is to help me understand you as a communicator. And for you to understand and reflect on how your self-concept influences and impacts your communication behavior. As well as how self-disclosure affects your interpersonal relationships.
