A researcher studying the attitudes of parents of preschool children interviews a random sample of 50 mothers, each having one preschool child. He asks each mother, "How many times did you compliment your child yesterday?" He records the answer as C.

The quantity C=4 refers to the fact that four of these data values were affirmative. Given this, then how would C=4 be classified?
